Repairing Imported Inventor Surfaces

You’ve imported a file that needs surface modifications, but when you try to issue standard surfacing commands you get the following warning:

Repair the File
One way to fix this problem is to repair the file. Right click on the file in the browser and select Repair Bodies.

This opens the Repair tab. Many of these commands are similar to the standard surfacing commands you’ll find in the Model tab on the ribbon, but the one that stands out as the most useful is the Intersect Faces command.
