Edit Imported Files with Autodesk Fusion

You’ve imported a file into Autodesk Inventor 2012, and now you need to modify some of the features. The best and fastest way to do this is to edit it using Fusion. This short tip will show you the basics of how Autodesk Inventor 2012 and Autodesk Fusion 2012 work together to simplify the editing process.

Import a File Into Inventor
You can import any translated format like SAT, STEP, IGES, etc using the File Open command. Set the File Type window to the file format and open the file.
