Custom Mechanical Drawings and Model Based Definition!

The Inventor 2023-24: 2D Drafting & Customization course shows you how to make custom mechanical drawings as well as add Model Based Definition (MBD) to your models. 2D drawings are the foundation of manufactured products. They define the specifications of the parts and assemblies produced by fabricators and manufacturers. Additional information can also be added directly to models and in some cases can replace mechanical drawings.

That said, Product Manufacturing Information (PMI) can be used to generate PDF files that contain the same information you'll find in mechanical drawings. The 2D Drafting and Customization course shows you how to create and customize both documentation methods.

This course shows you how to customize title blocks and borders. You'll learn how to automatically populate all the information in title blocks with a single click. Your custom drawing templates will be constructed with intelligence, allowing you to create drawings faster than ever.

In fact, drafters with the same skill level can create models and drawings faster than using AutoCAD. Automation and sound procedure is the key. With custom drawing templates you can populate all the information in a drawing simply by adding the part or assembly view. Add the rest of the views, and then click the dimensions.

Using the skills taught in the Solid Modeling, and Assemblies & Advanced Concepts courses your workflow will be lightening fast. Models produced with sound procedures make it easy to add MBD. This course shows you how it's done.

You'll also learn how to customize PDF files that automatically contain most of the information you'll see in mechanical drawings. With simple step-by-step instruction, you'll be able to produce all the documentation you'll need in the shortest time possible.

Autodesk Inventor 2024: 2D Drafting and Customization is all you'll need to customize Inventor and speed your work.
