SolidWorks Shortcut Bar Customization Promotes Quick Efficiency

The SolidWorks Shortcut Bar is a context-sensitive menu that will save you time. Using it will decrease the number of mouse movements you need to access the commands you use most. In this tutorial, I’ll show you how to use and customize the Shortcut Bar.

Using the Shortcut Bar
Type the S-Key and the Shortcut Bar will appear where your mouse cursor was. Depending on what mode you’re in, the Shortcut Bar will automatically change showing only the commands set up for that mode. Below is the Shortcut Bar during Sketch mode. Instead of traveling to the toolbar, simply activate the Shortcut Bar to select the desired command.
