Hotkey Model Rotation in SolidWorks

This is a quick tip on using hotkeys to rotate your models.

Many SolidWorks users don’t realize that you can use the arrow keys on your keyboard to rotate your models. If you press the Right or Left arrow keys, your model will rotate about the Y-axis.

If you use the Up and Down arrow keys, it will rotate about the X-axis.

If you hold down the Alt key and then press the Left or Right arrow keys, the model will rotate about the Z-axis.

All of these rotations are done it 15 degree increments and can be done in part files as well as assemblies.
