"Our company co-owner, Art Ritchie, used the DVDs to teach himself how to use Inventor - he had no formal training. The use of the Inventor program has been a huge asset to our company, and we were even just selected as the Autodesk Inventor of the Month for June 2011 by Autodesk, Inc. for our unique utilization of the product and our designs. Thank you for providing a great training tutorial!" Kate Blakley - Carousel Works, Inc.

Autodesk Inventor 2013 training tutorials:

Solid Modeling

This tutorial covers all the commands associated with solid modeling. You'll learn how to create bullet proof models in the shortest time possible, and you'll learn tips and techniques that will assure that your models can easily be edited. Beginner and advanced users should start with this course because it provides founding concepts for advanced operations and procedures discussed in later courses.

Assemblies and Advanced Concepts

Assemblies and Advanced Concepts deals with advanced concepts like iParts, iFeatures, and iAssemblies.  You’ll master assembly constraints, work with flexible and mirrored assemblies, learn how to make adaptive parts and assemblies, learn how to use the Design Accelerator, and many more advanced concepts. It also covers several advanced design methods. It's loaded with tips and tricks that go beyond the commands.

2D Drafting and Customization

Did you know Inventor can make AutoCAD drawings faster than AutoCAD?  The 2D Drafting and Customization course shows you how.  All the commands associated with 2D drawings are covered in detail, as well as customized drawing templates, styles, custom Material and Appearance Libraries, and interfacing with AutoCAD.

Sheet Metal Design

Sheet Metal Design shows you tricks and techniques you can apply to standard parts and assemblies.  It covers all the sheet metal commands, explains how to fold and unfold parts, and critical techniques you’ll need for punches, K-Factors and Bend Tables.  It also covers the Frame Generator, the Weldment environment, multi-body design methods, and much more!

Tube and Pipe Routed Systems

Tube and Pipe Routed Systems is an advanced tutorial with over 5 hours (300 minutes) of instruction. We recommend that you've watched the Solid Modeling, Assemblies and Advanced Concepts, 2D Drafting and Customization, and Sheet Metal Design courses before attempting to master the concepts in this course. You will learn how to make custom Tube and Pipe Styles, publish custom iPart Families to the Content Center, create derived routes and autoroutes, and you'll populate your routes. Most importantly, this course shows you how to effectively work in the Tube and Pipe environment to assure that your runs update properly and automatically when assembly components are modified.

Inventor Studio

Our course for Inventor Studio is an advanced tutorial with over 3 hours (180 minutes) of instruction. We recommend that you've watched the Solid Modeling, Assemblies and Advanced Concepts, 2D Drafting and Customization, and Sheet Metal Design courses before attempting to master the concepts in this course. You'll learn tips and techniques that will make your images and animations standout from the rest. Watch while author David Melvin, PE breaks the processes used with the commands down into manageable and understandable steps.

iLogic Made Simple

Want to learn a fast way to automate the construction of models, assemblies, and drawings? All you need to do is learn a few simple iLogic concepts and you're on your way. You need to have the strong foundation of advanced skills taught in the first 6 courses, but you can master iLogic even if you don't have programming experience. This course starts with the basics and progressively builds the skills you need to automatically change features on parts, change parts in assemblies and generate new drawings for all the new parts. It goes far beyond any training on the market today, but simplifies the process so that anyone can do it.
